Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the use of siennachalet.ro and to the stay requests sent through it. By using the website, you agree to them.
1. About us
The website presents Sienna Chalet, a holiday home rented in full, in Peștera, Moieciu commune, postcode 507136, Brașov County, Romania. Sienna Chalet is run by Daniel Dobos, a private individual. You can reach us at siennachalet@gmail.com or +40 740 020 668, including on WhatsApp.
2. A stay request is not a booking
The “Plan your stay” form sends us a request, not a booking. We reply personally with availability and the rate. A booking is confirmed after we receive the deposit and send written confirmation, by email or WhatsApp. No payments are made on the website.
3. Direct bookings
For bookings made directly with us, we confirm your booking in writing after receiving a 30% deposit of the total price. The remaining 70% is paid on arrival at the house. The minimum stay is 2 nights.
Cancellation: if you cancel at least 3 days before your arrival date, we refund the deposit in full within 3 working days of your cancellation notice. After that deadline, the deposit is non-refundable. You can notify us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
The final rate and the payment method are sent to you in writing before confirmation and form part of our agreement.
4. Bookings through Airbnb or Booking.com
Bookings made through Airbnb or Booking.com are governed by that platform’s terms and by the cancellation policy shown on the listing at the time of booking.
5. House rules
- The whole house is rented to a single group.
- Up to 6 guests, adults only.
- Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 12 noon.
- Quiet hours: 10 pm – 8 am and 1 pm – 2 pm, as required by Romanian law.
- Pets are not allowed.
- No smoking, including vapes and e-cigarettes.
- No parties or events.
- The utility room and the laundry are service areas, with no guest access.
6. During your stay
Please use the house and its amenities with care and let us know straight away about any fault or damage. Under Romanian law, guests are liable for damage caused through their fault.
The house is in a mountain area close to a national park, so wild animals may appear. Keep food and rubbish closed away and take care outdoors after dark.

7. Information on the website
We do our best to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date. The photos show the real house, but furnishings and amenities may change over time. If there is a difference, the information confirmed in writing at booking applies.
8. External links
The website links to Airbnb, Booking.com, WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or policies of those services.
9. Copyright
The texts, photos and videos on the website belong to Sienna Chalet and may not be used without our written consent.
10. Personal data
How we use your data is described in the Privacy policy.
11. Complaints and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If something wasn’t right, write to us and we will look for a solution together. You can also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro), including for alternative dispute resolution (SAL). If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes are settled by the competent courts in Romania.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. A booking is governed by the version in force on the date it was confirmed.
